After recapturing Britis Castle, the Crown Knight Gundam is given the King Calibur by the Heroic Spirit of his father, King Gundam I, who appears in the Round Table Chamber, and officially inherits the throne. The King Shield, engraved with the Griffin and Merlion, the guardian mythical beasts of the Britis Kingdom, and the Vatras Sword, with its dragon relief, become equipment that contains all three mythical beasts that protect the Britis Kingdom. Together with the twelve newly selected Knights of the Round Table, they head for the holy mountain, Londenion, where the Zabiloniya Empire's Emperor, Great Degwin, is headed in search of the Holy Grail.

Branrival is King Gundam II's beloved horse. Clad in gorgeous armor that rivals King's own, he races across the battlefield alongside King II.

He was appointed to the Shuffle Knights by Superior Dragon, and after Superior Dragon's death, he led the Knights as their leader. He bestowed the title of Jack in Diamonds on Rose.
