The Gadeel is a high-mobility, aerial combat specialized mobile armor newly developed by the New UNE to ensure control of the air space. This flight capable machine's shape is similar to that of a fighter jet and has low air resistance. It has a head sensor at the top, a pair of jet engines with high thrust on both wings, and a pair of retractable arms below the jet engines. A custom long-barreled beam rifle that can also be used as a beam saber is installed at the bottom of the machine. Despite having a top speed and turning capabilities superior to that of the aerial combat specialized GW-9800 Gundam Airmaster, it still took two Gadeels to badly damage the Gundam. As the New UNE decided to prioritize the production of the NR-001 Balient, the Gadeel never entered mass production and only 30 units were produced.

The Gadeel first appeared during a joint Freeden/People's Republic of Estard mission to destroy an air base of the New UNE. During this battle Witz Sou's Gundam Airmaster fought against two Gadeels which proved to be tough opponents. They not only escaped most of his attacks, but also inflicted heavy damage on the Airmaster. However, the two Gadeels were destroyed by the Airmaster in the end.

Following this battle, the damaged Airmaster was upgraded by Freeden mechanic Kid Salsamille and mechanics of Estard into the GW-9800-B Gundam Airmaster Burst. Using his new Airmaster Burst, Witz fought and easily defeated more Gadeels in the battle around the United Kingdom of Northernbell's capital, Berude.
