A variation of the Death Army mobile suit, the Death Beast incorporates a Death Army mobile suit whose legs have been folded up onto its back, allowing it to be mounted on a four legged platform. The legs grant it extra stability in uneven terrain and can also be pulled together to form hover mode, allowing the Death Beast to quickly pursue fleeing prey. In the event that the platform is damaged, the mobile suit can detach and convert to its standard two legged form. As with the Death Army, the Death Beasts are piloted by DG cell-reanimated corpses.
