The Endra-class is the primary ship type utilized by Neo Zeon during the First Neo Zeon War. A light cruiser based on the older Musai-class, it can carry six mobile suits internally and launch them using a pair of crossed catapults built into its bow. The Endra-class is armed with five mega particle guns, one twin mega particle secondary gun, six anti-air laser guns, and an unknown number of missile launchers. It can operate in space as well as in the Earth's atmosphere, and also stores a Komusai reentry capsule on the back of its bridge. Some Endra-class ships have unique color schemes, and those used by commanders can have different bridge tower designs.

The ship's hull is blue, with an antenna-equipped bridge. During the Earth descent operation, Glemy Toto transferred from Mindora to become its commander. It is equipped with a cryosleep device, and a compartment is used to keep Ple Two and the other Ple series in cold sleep. After the descent, the ship receives the Psyco Gundam Mk-II (a temporary storage deck is set up at the rear of the ship at the time) and travels to Dublin shortly after the colony's landing to attack the Argama. It then returns to space and is tasked with defending Axis, but Glemy rebels and takes control of Axis. After Glemy transfers to Guanban, Lakan Dhakaran becomes its commander and leads the rebel army to fight against Haman Karn's regular forces.

In "Gundam ZZ: Can I Write This Much?", published in the September 1986 issue of The Anime, Lakan takes command and captures the Side 1 colony "Arcadia" in 38 hours. It was later featured in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ Side Story: Zeon's Phantom Sun, where Dreissen and Doms can be seen among the aircraft carriers.

In the event "0088 Pesce Montagne ~Whispers of the Voiceless Voice I~" in the smartphone game Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE, Celine Rom, an early cyborg from the Flanagan Institute, is also put into cold sleep and is awakened by Glemy after a 10-year slumber.
