A GM whose main purpose is to collect combat data and operational data used by the "Independent Mechanized Hybrid Technical Support Squadron" special operations team.

Outwardly, the Gatheroad Squad Specification GM appears identical to the standard production GM model rolled out during the One Year War, though a unit emblem decal is pasted on the left shoulder and the normally red portions of the GM have been repainted in black to be in-line with their emblem.

The GM (Gatheroad) saw action during Operation Odessa, piloted by the commander of the Gatheroad Squadron and his two squadmates.

During the operation the team would be drawn into the G: Universe, where the they were compromised by the Breaks in the system caused by the administrator, Code; Maxwells, and the Commander is forced to leave his GM and his squadmates to correct the breaks. Following the defeat of Code; Maxwells, the team returns to the time of Operation Odessa and his GM is restored to operational status, but is ambushed by a vengeful Code; Maxwells' damaged Gundam Latreia. The Commander's GM is severely beaten by the Latreia, cracking its camera lens with a knee strike, before the GM is uploaded with the combat data of Hermes Mercury's own Lateria. Still appearing battle-scarred, with dirt on its body and cracked optics, but otherwise the upload exponentially boosted the GM's capabilities in the G: Universe well beyond that of a typical GM.

At the end of the incident, the Commander's battle-hardened skills from fighting conflicts all across Gundam history combined with the data upgrade makes this GM a force to be reckoned with.
