G.B.R.-11 GaoFighGar is part of GGG's Mobile Unit, it was built as a replacement and successor unit to G.B.R.-01 GaoGaiGar, formed from the Final Fusion of GaoFar (Guy Shishiou + F-111 Phantom Gao) and the new GaoMachines (Drill Gao II + Liner Gao II + Stealth Gao III). In The King of Kings ~GaoGaiGar Vs. Betterman~, Renais Kerdif Shishiou ends up becoming its pilot once Gai had GaoGaiGar to pilot instead to battle against Ruin Genesic GaoGaiGar.

A "Fighting Mechanoid" created to replace GaoGaiGar after Galeon and Mamoru Amami took off toward the Trinity Solar System, GaoFighGar greatly surpasses GaoGaiGar on basic performance, thanks to incorporating the powerful Ul-Tech Engine and Guy's new Evoluder abilities. Unlike GaiGar, when conducting Final Fusion, GaoFar will first release a large yellow horizontal Electromagnetic Tornado from the hatch on it's abdomen. Within there, the Mechanoid then produces a trio of "Program Rings" around itself, which the new GaoMachines will circle and read the data in the Rings before conducting combination with GaoFar, forming GaoFighGar (the system was designed by former BioNet subject Alouette). The afromentioned Program Rings are also used for GaoFighGar's Broken Phantom and Protect Wall techniques.
