Dag-Shadow is formed when Shadow Ryuu combines with his personal Dag-Vehicle, the Shadow Jet through the Fusing Combination. He can then combine with Guard Wolf, Guard Tiger and Guard Hawk to form Shadow Dagwon.

The result of Ryuu Hashiba in his Shadow Ryuu state combining with the Shadow Jet, used for tackling larger enemies. In this form, Ryuu as Dag-Shadow can transform into the Shadow Dragon when required.

Dag-Shadow was first formed when Dag-Fire was about to be annihillated by the building-robot possessed by the Space Phantom Chaos Seijin, swiftly destroying the robot with the Dragon Plasma Burn (Later, Ryuu, in his human form, came face to face with the Chaos Seijin itself, eventually defeating the it with his willpower when the Seijin tried to possess Ryuu).
