The Hiryuu is one of the main robots piloted by Joe Raibaru, with the other being Gouryuu. Its cockpit is a detachable car called the Hayabusa-gou.

Created by Professor Wolfgang based on data collected through battles with Might Gaine, the Hiryuu is extremely fast and agile, having advanced flight capabilities, carries a diverse array of weapons and can transform into a jet mode for fast travel. Another special thing about Hiryuu is that its cockpit is actually a car called the Hayabusa-gou which can be used by Joe for traveling purposes aside from being an escape vehicle, once Hiryuu is destroyed.
