Super Guardion is the formed through the 4-Unit Combination of the entire Guard Team (a subsidiary group of the Space Police Force), which includes Guard Star, Guard Fire, Guard Rescue and Guard Wing. Super Guardion's conscience is taken over by Guard Wing (as evidenced by his talking style), unlike Guardion.

Being the Guard Team's ultimate ace-in-the-hole, Super Guardion boasts immense strength and durability, along with various powerful weapons.

When fighting Draias' mecha beast in episode 23, Guardion was restrained by the beast's jaws and can not break free, even with Guard Wing's help. The Guard Team decided to use their ultimate trump card and combined into Super Guardion, easily defeating the mecha beast with Armed Fighbird shortly afterward.
