Great Fighbird is the leader of his Space Police Force team, he is the second Great Combiner of the Brave Series, formed from the Strongest Combination between Fighbird and Granbird. He can also utilize the Flame Breaster and Breaster Jet as combat equipment.

Great Fighbird embodies the power of both Fighbird and Granbird, which allows him to have the ultimate power that even surpasses the Emperor of Space, Draias himself. This is Yuutarou Katori's main combat mecha for the 2nd half of the series, however he doesn't use this configuration in every single episode of the latter half like how most Brave Series shows treat their Great Combiner.

At the NASA Moon Base in episode 32, Jet Granbird was quickly overwhelmed by Draias when his Gran Cannon couldn't even put a scratch on Draias' shield. Before Draias could deliver the finishing blow, however, a fully-repaired Fire Jet arrives and saves Jet Granbird right on time. Realizing that if Fighbird and Granbird combined their power, Katori could fight off Draias, Katori initiated the Strongest Combination and combined into Great Fighbird, soundly defeating Draias and his mecha beast, forcing his team to once again retreat. During the final battle, he defeated Shura and Zol's robots, then finally ended Draias once and for all by combining the power of the Space Police Force and unleashing the Triple Fire Cross, destroying the giant Organic Draias.
