This is the new form of Lightning Knight Zechs, who was transformed into a gundam knight by the thoughts of the Ancient God Baroque Gun. He transformed Milliardo, also of the Angel Clan, into a Gundam Clan to counter Knight Wing, save by the Gold God. He is under mental control by the Ancient God, and like Zechs, has no memory of his time as Milliardo, so he fights alongside his younger brother Heero.

Armed with the multi-sectioned sword Zechs Slasher, which is integrated with his shield, and the dagger Zechs Dagger, he attacks Versal Knight Wing.

Recovering his memories, Mirial, now a knight of the Union Clan, heads out to rescue Relena, but is abducted right before his eyes by the dark angel Dorothy.
