Shinya, prepared to even risk death in order to surpass his brother Takaya, was transformed into a blaster by Phong Lee and evolved into this form. However, Evil was forced into blaster transformation even though he was not yet at the stage where Tekkaman would normally evolve, and his body was unable to withstand the excessive evolution and collapsed.

By the time the blaster transformation was complete, Shinya had very little life left and was unable to even make it to Earth. He battled Blade on the outer periphery of the Orbital Ring, heading for the Radam mothership on the far side of the moon, and won the battle with Voltekka in a shootout. Exhausted and with Blade's blaster transformation gone, Shinya charged in with his Lancer in an attempt to finish off Blade, but the limitations of his blaster transformation slowed his movements and he was instead impaled by Blade's Lancer.

Like Blade, his design emphasizes sharpness, but due to the forced evolution, only the upper body has undergone a bizarre transformation. He also has a tail growing from his back.
