This robot was purchased by I.C. Bruce from the merchant D.D. Richman. It transforms into the locomotive portion of the space machine J9III, and although it is powered by a gasoline engine, it is also capable of space travel.

It was originally built at the request of the former owner of J9 Land, but the owner took over J9 Land and disappeared, leaving no buyers. Richman approached Bruce, who was on a mission to buy it, and it became JJ9's base and trump card. The name "Sasuraiger" was later coined by Bruce, referring to the fact that they "wander through the galaxy."

Unlike Briger and Bakushinger, the J9III does not use the Synchron Theory; instead, it transforms only into the locomotive portion, connecting and disconnecting from the passenger cars as needed. It has also been depicted as being piloted by Bruce alone, or by Birdie, Jimmy, Suzie, and Richman alone. It is the most unconventional robot among the J9's main robots. The manipulator is a transformable version of the J9III's cow catcher (a plow-like part attached to the front of a railway vehicle to keep cows away), and although not as sturdy as the Braiger, it has four claw-like fingers.
