King Gainer

Status: Overman of Yapan Ceiling
Tags: Overman
World: the World of Super Robot Wars
Works: Overman King Gainer
LeveL: A

A high-performance antique Overman treasured by the Medaille family.

Gainer Sanga, imprisoned by the Siberian Railway Patrol (commonly known as the Siberian Railway Guard), activated it when he boarded it as a cover. Gainer gave it the name "King Gainer," referring to the fact that he became the king of the Overman Battle Game the morning he boarded it; its original name is unknown (though if the story is accurate, its correct name is XAN-Zan-). Due to its distinctive, hairy appearance, the enemy Siberian Railway soldiers nicknamed it "Hair Overman," and the name "King Gainer" only became common after the battle with Lionnetter. Its facial features can change freely, almost like an emoji.

While it is not known for its exceptional strength, it possesses an impressive muscle engine, capable of easily carrying two woolly elephants (simply calculating 1.4 times its own weight) and bracing a giant rock from collapsing during its battle with Brunhilde.

Its Overskill is "Acceleration," which not only enables the mech to move at lightning speeds, but also manipulates the repulsion of positive and negative energy through molecular motion. At first, Gainer, unable to take advantage of Overman's special abilities, piloted it as if it were a 3D game. However, as his Oversense improved, he began to use negative energy to "freeze through acceleration." His "Overfreeze Bullet" and Overskill "Blizzard" are thought to be Overskills manifested from his negative emotional factors. Overman is also known as the "Overdevil's kin," and it's assumed that the Overdevils also share Overskills driven by negative emotional factors. In the end, Gainer, moved by the passion of his comrades, created the Overskill "Overheat," the opposite of freezing, "heating through acceleration," and destroyed the Overdevil. He has also used the Overskill "stopping time" several times, and has even used the Overskill "Blackmail" to become invisible while wearing the Overskill "Blackmail."
