The new Steel Jeeg was built by Build Base in preparation for the upcoming rematch with the Great Jama Kingdom. The system for replacing the parts fired from the Big Shooter is the same as the old Jeeg, and the joints of each part are the same, so parts from the old Jeeg can be reused as is.

Whereas the old Jeeg's cyborg Shiba Chuu transforms into the head of Jeeg, the new Jeeg is a rider-type super robot in which a large motorcycle called the Raikouma transforms into the head which also serves as the cockpit.

A dotaku is embedded in the head (the Raikouma), and its effect is maximized depending on the emotional ups and downs of its pilot, Kenji. The ability to combine into Jeeg seems to depend on the power of the dotaku, and build-up is impossible while the dotaku is stolen (this is also the case with the old Jeeg).
