The "cool and nihilistic" female protagonist.

She also has a fondness for cats. She's the first tsundere character in Super Robot Wars, and her somewhat apathetic attitude toward cooking is a trait inherited by later tsundere characters. However, among tsundere characters, she's the harshest toward her lover. Despite her supposed hatred of men, her lover is the heterosexual Irmgard Kazahara. In 4th Series, unlike later OG characters, she speaks in a girlish manner appropriate for her age.

Her image song is "The Age of Courage." She's one of two characters out of eight whose singer and voice actor don't match. The other is Pat, and the two often complain about this. It's a mystery how she gets along with Pat, who is allergic to cats.

Alpha Series / OG Series

She succeeded her father as president of Mao Industries.

She was once a member of the PTX team led by Ingram Plissken, and was a pilot comparable to Irmgard Kazahara. It seems she has overcome this and no longer shows signs of hating men. However, she appears to have become bossy towards Ilm, as seen when she came across him flirting with a guy and cut him off. Later, when Ilm was giving dating advice to Task, she spoke of her own experience, saying (pointing at Leona) "With that type of girl, it's hard until you start dating, but the real hardship is after you start dating."
