The male protagonist of "Sword Force IV" is a "theorist who likes the opposite sex." His nickname is Ilm. His image song is "Egoist no Yoru." Starting with "F," his character design was refined by Sachiko Kono.

He has a carefree attitude and a light-hearted personality, and he often picks up women. He can cover a wide age range, from 8 to 50 years old (though Valsione is obviously out of his league). However, he also has a calm and collected side, perhaps due to his adult composure, and makes decisions when it's time to make them, a mature man in the best sense of the word. He often leaves the front lines to younger members and works behind the scenes, demonstrating his talent in every situation.

His profile was refined from the "α series," making him nearly 10 years older and changing his hairstyle. He is a former PTX team pilot and belongs to the Far East branch. The "OG series" also follows this pattern. Perhaps because he is one of the older members of the unit in that series, aside from his soft-spoken side, he is a friendly, caring older brother figure to the unit.

In "Sword IV", he was good at teasing the serious Lin Mao, but by the OG series, when he was older, it seemed like it was no longer a joke, and after Lin found out he was flirting with an employee of Mao Industries, he was cut off from all ties.

The official view is that the him in "Sword IV" and the him in the OG and Alpha series (and Lin Mao, who is in the same position) are treated as very similar but different people.
