Heavy Metal is piloted by Amandara Kamandara, the original Ordona Poseidal. Amandara herself controls the machine's start-up key, and it can also be remotely controlled for self-defense.

It is a kind of handmade machine that combines parts from two Augers passed down in the Poseidal family, with the upper body made from Auger (although all but the head is a replica) and the lower body made from Puddin Auger, and the armor on its right shoulder is reused from the Blood Temple. While it may seem unbalanced at first glance, its basic performance is actually quite high. The machine's armor is made from specially treated gold and platinum, and its manufacturing cost far exceeds that of an Auger.
