This is the second mass-produced B-grade heavy metal suit after the Alone.

When it first appears in episode 4 of the original manga, an excited Mirau Cao is next to Fanneria Am, who remarks that it's not uncommon, suggesting that a considerable number were mass-produced, and it did indeed appear in large numbers as heavy metal suit used by Poseidal soldiers.

In the series, it was used by Gablet Gabrai before being given Basch, and in episode 9, Gau Ha Lessi piloted a pale purple-painted suit.

There are several variations with slightly different coloring and shapes, such as the Space Graia, which reduces its walking ability by redirecting excess power to its power launcher and employs boosters to increase mobility, and the Graianoda, an early prototype named after its designer.

Of these, the Parata Star Graianoda was improved to the point where it could fight on equal terms with Basch, and was seized by civilians who sided with the rebels and became their wingman. During the capture, yellow paint was sprayed on the aircraft to distinguish friend from foe, and the rebel aircraft was subsequently repainted yellow and used again.
