A Knight of the Round Table who has served since the time of King Gundam I. He fought to defend Britis Castle from the invasion of the Zabilonia Empire, but it fell, and since then he has been hiding and waiting for an opportunity to strike back. When he learns that the young prince, Crown Knight Gundam, is alive and has risen up against the Zabilonia Empire, he rushes to the Lanarre region. While supporting the struggling Crown Knight, he helps defeat Zakuroad. To clear his past regrets, he fights under the Crown Knight to defeat Zabilonia.

Sir Platinum and Guntank R became Knights of the Round Table of King Gundam II. They marched to the holy mountain, Rondenion, together with King II. The mark of the Round Table appears on Sir Platinum's chest, and on the back of Guntank R's hand.
