Olcott was a former member of Dominicus and a veteran mobile suit pilot, with his own sense of justice. His son was killed during an attack by Earthians some time before he joined the Dawn of Fold. Following these events, he threw away any personal attachments, including his real name.

At some point he had almost all of his body replaced with GUND prosthetics.

Olcott was the main commander for the Dawn of Fold's attack on Plant Quetta. He led the initial force deploying jammers in the Plant's airspace before ordering Sophie and Norea to begin their assault.

After the attack, Olcott spotted Guel Jeturk in a stolen Desultor and took him captive as the Dawn of Fold returned to their base on Earth in Japan. He returned to Guel chained in a bathroom. After hearing from Sedo and Seethia that he had not eaten in three days, Olcott began force-feeding him, saying he still had value as a hostage and couldn't escape by dying.
