Sophie is a sadistic and aggressive girl. She is excitable and impulsive, and appears to enjoy fighting and threatening her enemies, as evidenced by her threatening Guel Jeturk with a gun as well as her maniacal laughter and joy while piloting her Gundam. She has no hesitation about destroying a space station full of civilians as collateral damage when targeting Delling Rembran for an assassination attempt. She is confident in her fighting abilities and is eager to prove herself, rushing into battle without waiting for her allies to back her up.

She is so enthusiastic about proving her strength and winning that she raises her Gundam's permet score to higher and higher levels even as it puts massive strain on her body. She does not appear to have much fear of death or a strong sense of self preservation, instead opting for victory even at great personal risk. In fact she even felt a degree of ecstasy while operating her Gundam. She also has skill as an orator, openly pointing out the contradictions between Suletta Mercury's belief that the Aerial is a mobile suit meant to save lives and the sheer destructive power of the mobile suit.
