A state-of-the-art mobile suit for Newtypes developed by the Principality of Zeon after the One Year War, the GQuuuuuuX was the result of Zeon's advanced mobile suit technology since they reverse-engineered the RX-78-02 White Gundam captured by Col. Char Aznable in late U.C. 0079. The GQuuuuuuX was equipped with a Psycommu system Omega Type, a further development of Psycommu system which was supposed to have been prohibited as a taboo after the One Year War. In addition to beam saber and beam rifle, the suit is also equipped with a shield that could be equipped with I-Field Generator. It is also equipped with a Core Fighter mechanism that functioned as a backpack, and it can fly independently if separated.
