The MSN-04FF Sazabi was designed in case the Neo Zeon's global cooling operation became prolonged. It was equipped with Double Horn Funnels, a pair of large Psycommu weapons similar to, and designed as counter for, the RX-93ff ν Gundam's Long Range Fin Funnel, allowing its pilot Char Aznable to fight Amuro Ray on equal terms. The Double Horn Funnels were all-range weapons that combined the Mother Funnel's Psycho Wave Hub technology, hyper beam sabers, and hyper mega particle cannon, providing enough firepower to wipe out groups of incoming missiles.

Powerful and versatile Newtype-use remote weaponry, they replace the six standard funnels that would normally be stored in the Sazabi's two Funnel Racks. The double horn funnels mount onto its backpack-mounted Funnel Racks, where they can be recharged through a central plug which occupies all three of the slots on the Funnel Rack. The double horn funnels can be fired over the shoulders from this position. They can also be launched to carry out all-range attacks either singularly or combined together side-by-side to make a more powerful tandem beam cannon.
