The character designation for "MSV" first appeared, and later an illustration was drawn in SD, and the name and model number were also set (model number: MS-09).

Options with the same specifications as the Dom Tropical Test Type can be equipped on existing Doms with minor modifications, and some of them are being produced. Units equipped with the options are generally called "D-Type", but this is not the official name. Thirty units were selected as base units from among the mass-produced units and mass-produced units, but because development was too late, only 20 units were completed by the time the California Base fell, and of these, around 10 units were actually used. This unit has also been mistaken for the Dom Tropical Test Type during battle. When the Federation Army recaptured the California Base, several units were found in the process of being modified, but the completed units were not available until the end of the war. The coloring is based on sand yellow and brown, with a gray chest and red around the monoeye.
