A scaled-down version of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, the MSZ-007 Mass Production Type Ζ Gundam lacks the Waverider mode, instead it employs wing binders similar to those of the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki. The head of the Mass Production Z Gundam is based on that of the MSA-003 Nemo, and its overall body shape is similar to that of the Zeta Gundam. Its armaments are simple and consisted of a mega beam rifle and a pair of beam sabers.
After the high performance of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam became evident, Anaheim Electronics planned to mass-produce the suit. However, this design turned out to be inferior to their other project, the MSR-00100 Hyaku Shiki Kai and its development was halted. In U.C.0094, a Mass Production Type Ζ Gundam piloted by Fresberg Corps pilot Pesco Lingua was deployed for technical tests with the MSN-001X Gundam Delta Kai at Area X of the Mariana Base.
