Shortly after Bandora the Witch was awoken from her slumber, Mysterious Sage Barza woke the first four warriors minus Prince Geki. While the four Zyurangers stormed Bandora's base to save two children, they were captured, though luckily Prince Geki awoke and arrived in time to save them.

While fighting Dora Skelton, the Zyuranger's weapons acquired from the temple broke. Thus, to continue their crusade against Bandora, the Zyurangers needed to acquire new weapons.
