During the initial attack of the Black Cross Army against the Japanese EAGLE bases, Gold Mask led the attack on the Kanto branch, killing nearly everyone there, including the brother of Tsuyoshi Kaijo, who became the only survivor of the attack.

He and a group of Zolders later hijacked a school bus and were planning to kill the kids on the bus, by locking the bus in a warehouse rigged to explode. However, the Gorengers saved the kids inside the bus before the bomb went off, and the two forces fought one another. Gold Mask tried to run away following the defeat of his Zolders. However, the Gorengers cornered him in a corn field and unleashed the Gorenger Storm, slaying the Masked Monster and avenging the Kanto massacre.
