The 13th Autonomous Corps, initially known as the White Base Corps, are a faction featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam television series and the Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow and Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space compilation films. During the One Year War, it was an independent subdivision of the Earth Federation Space Force's Tianem Fleet, to which the White Base was assigned prior to its return to space. The composition of the 13th Autonomous Corps changed over time, as the White Base sometimes travelled by itself, and on other occasions, was escorted by a handful of cruisers.
