He is one of the Four Mashous of the Hyakki Yakou, and is known as the Sword Mashou. He has a refined character, dislikes cowardly fighting methods, and always wants to fight on an equal footing with his opponent. He believes that only winning under equal circumstances can be considered a battle record. For this reason, he dislikes Jiaku's cowardly tactics, and handed over the child of Saiga's master, who was being held hostage, to the Gundam Army. He once studied swordsmanship from Master along with Blaster, and mastered the Rakshas Shinpu-ryu style. After further training, he also mastered the secret techniques of the Mitsugi Shinkage-ryu style. Blaster is his only friend, and when he is taken over by Yami Gensui, he plots to rescue him. His deadly Heavenly Movement Secret Technique is the Charge Piercing Slash, in which he transforms his entire body into a giant sword and charges at the enemy, cutting them in half.
