He was saved by the protagonist when he and Guncannon were being harassed by delinquents at a festival. He is a fellow fireworks maker and like Guncannon, he aspires to be a musha, but as a former fireworks maker, he is not good at using swords. He fights enemies with cannons and guns. He is equipped with cannons on both shoulders and a large rotating Gatling Cannon on both arms. He is constantly fighting with Guncannon, but they are a perfect example of how the more they fight, the closer they are to each other.
