The NRX-055 Baund Doc is a transformable mobile armor introduced in the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam anime. Pilots included Rosamia Badam, Gates Capa, and Jerid Messa (alongside instructor Loren Nakamoto).

Although normal human pilots could operate the Baund Doc, its true potential only came out in the hands of a Newtype or a Cyber Newtype. Three Baund Docs were built, although only the first one, the NRX-055-1 had a specially-designed cockpit that could seat two individuals, the pilot and an instructor. The second and third units were essentially the same, except they were built with standard single-person cockpits and sported highly distinctive color schemes of blue, yellow and pink.

The Psycommu system is a mind-machine interface that receives the powerful thoughtwaves (similar to regular brainwaves, but not electrical in nature) emitted by Newtypes and Cyber Newtypes and translates them into computer commands. Using this interface a Newtype/Cyber Newtype pilot can direct remote weapons, and operate mobile weapons, by thought alone.
