The Mad Angler-class is a submarine class of the Principality of Zeon featured in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam.

Originally an Earth Federation design, the Mad Angler-class was modified by Zeon into a massive submarine carrier. It has a very large carrying capacity, capable of holding 3 amphibious mobile suit teams (9 units), 1 MAM-07 Grublo aquatic mobile armor, 6 Sealance aquatic fighter, and more than 3 small recon aircraft.

In U.C. 0079, after the Second Landing Operation, Principality of Zeon special forces captured the submarine construction facility at California Base, which contained eight Lockwood-class submarines. They were modified to become aquatic mobile suit carriers, and were renamed the Mad Angler-class.

Char Aznable joined up with a mobile suit unit of the same name operating off of one such unit in his pursuit of the White Base.
