The Kallisto is a customized STH-14s Hyakuri owned by Gianmarco Salerno. The Hyakuri's large backpack has been omitted and replaced by a large, stabilizer-shaped thruster, causing the Kallisto's silhouette to be closer to a human being's. The combination of this back-mounted thruster with the new shoulder-mounted large thrusters granted the mobile suit high mobility. Although its head armor is vastly different from the original, the Kallisto still has the same type of head sensor as Hyakuri. This mobile suit's most distinctive feature is the Variable Blade Shields mounted on its forearms that are used for close combat. These weapons are originally a part of the ASW-G-29 Gundam Astaroth Origin's shoulder armor, and are difficult to reproduce with current technology. With the Variable Blade Shields in mind, the Kallisto has been adjusted for high-speed and flexible combat.
