In AD 2307, a group of terrorists acquired and used four AEU Hellion Orbit Packages to attack the HRL's Orbital Elevator during its 10th anniversary celebration. However, this attack was intercepted and stopped by Celestial Being's GN-003 Gundam Kyrios and GN-005 Gundam Virtue.

Even after the introduction of the AEU-09 AEU Enact Space Type and the GN Drive Tau-equipped mobile suits some time later, the AEU Hellion Orbit Package remained in service. They were also acquired and deployed by the anti-Federation organization Katharon in AD 2312. In AD 2314, the AEU Hellion Orbit Package was one of the many machines deployed by the Earth Sphere Federation Forces during the conflict with the alien life forms known as the ELS.
