Prior to the Celestial Being's final battle with the A-Laws and the Innovators, the GN-007 Arios Gundam received upgrades that significantly improved its firepower, turning it into the GN-007GNHW/M Arios Gundam GNHW/M. "GNHW/M" stands for "GN Heavy Weapons/Missile", and the mobile suit featured three new weapons: a pair of back-mounted GN Missile Containers, a handheld GN Cannon, and a GN Beam Rifle built into the modified back stabilizer. Even with these added weapons, the Arios Gundam GNHW/M can still switch between Mobile Suit Form and the Flight Form like the original Arios Gundam, and it also retained the ability to combine with the GNR-101A GN Archer to form the GN-007GNHW/M+GNR-101A Archer Arios.
