An unmanned aircraft developed by ZAFT as a flight platform for mobile suits that cannot fly in the atmosphere, its official name is "Mobile Suit Support Aerial Mobile Flyer Guuru". The Guuru's engine pod equipped wings can be folded when not in use, making it more compact for storage onboard the Vosgulov-class submarine, etc. With its high thrust, the Guuru is capable of vertical takeoffs and landings, as well as perform aerial maneuvers even with a mobile suit on its back. The entire Guuru, including the pair of 6-tube missile launchers, is remote controlled by the mobile suit on its back.
The Guuru could also be used by mobile suits besides those constructed by ZAFT, including the Gundams of the Earth Alliance's G Project. Other than serving as a mobile suit flight platform, the Guuru can also be used to airlift more than 100 ton of payload. It can also be used to provide underwater maneuvering capability for regular mobile suits. This ability was particularly useful before the creation of dedicated aquatic mobile suits as it allows regular mobile suits to work in tandem with submarines.
