Fumina is a very caring person. This is her main weakness in Gunpla Battle during the beginning of the series, as she prioritized helping her teammates rather than her own individual fighting strength, becoming reliant on her teammates. Fumina has a strong drive to accomplish her goals, but also believes in the value of teamwork. She is also a capable tactician, often directing her teammates on the battlefield.

After meeting Sekai Kamiki and witnessing his style of fighting incorporated in Gunpla Battle, Fumina slowly changes her way of thinking and became bolder about fighting alone.

Throughout the series she has worn different clothing but her primary outfit consists of a yellow jacket, a black, pink, and white sports bra, and similarly colored bike shorts and shoes. She also wears a blue bracelet along with a pink ponytail ring. Later on, she wears a different casual outfit consisting of a pink long sleeved shirt with white shorts and long socks. This outfit retained her bracelet and ponytail ring. After the Try Fighters' victory at the national tournament, she once again wears her previous casual outfit[3]. Her hair is sand blonde and her eyes are blue.
