The second confirmed produced unit of the experimental MSZ-009 series, and upon its completion, various weapons were added and production tests performed. Unlike the initial MSZ-009 Prototype ZZ Gundam unit, this B-Type is equipped with a prototype head-mounted high mega cannon, back-mounted beam cannons which can be detached and used as hyper beam sabers and an optional prototype version of the double beam rifle. Because the high mega cannon required large amounts of power to be used effectively, the B-Type runs a powerful generator which had double the power output of the first MSZ-009.
