Appears in *BBW*. A general who ruled Wan, and one of the warlords who rose to power after Dong Zhuo's death. He possesses a cunning personality, willing to use any means necessary to achieve his goals.

Impressed by Cao Cao's ideals, he invited Cao Cao and Liu Bei to the inauguration ceremony of Wan. However, this was a trap to eliminate both of them, and Zhang Xiu herself was allied with Yuan Shu. After the assassination attempt failed by Dian Wei and Guan Yu, she joined Yuan Shu's army and participated in the Battle of Shouchun in episode 24. However, after Sun Ce's army breached the back gate, she disappeared with Jia Xu (although it's also evident that she trusted Yuan Shu to some extent, as she stopped Jia Xu from abandoning him and turned back before leaving).

His whereabouts remained unknown for a long time, but he reappeared in episode 41 alongside Jia Xu. In Jingzhou, as a token of his intention to rekindle an alliance with Cao Cao, whom he had betrayed, he took Guan Ping (Guan Yu's adopted son and top disciple, though this is not revealed in the main story) hostage and attempted to assassinate Liu Bei and his men. However, he was defeated and blown up by Liu Bei's "Trinity Star Dragon Slash," who was saved by Zhuge Liang, and Jia Xu escaped.

He also referred to himself as the "Migratory Bird of Sanlisha," and like Jia Xu, he had been forgotten by Liu Bei and his men until he mentioned having served in Yuan Shu's army, which reminded them of him.

The cape he wears is modeled after a booster pack.

There are no plans for a toy release.
