The Heavenly Star of the Wilderness. Appearing in "BBW Genesis," he is a wandering strategist searching for a hero worthy of Sanlisha's future, and Zhou Yu's mentor. Intrigued by Sun Jian, known as the Tiger of Jiangdong, he accepted an invitation to Changsha. He became the land warfare strategist for the Changsha army, but had previously taught military strategy to Yan Baihu.

He sent Zhou Yu to persuade Sun Ce, who disregarded military strategy, of the necessity of a strategist. In his final moments, he went to Yan Baihu himself, sacrificing his own life to teach Sun Ce and Zhou Yu the "power of bonds and unbreakable love."
