He has a special move that uses his flame spear to fire flame bullets called Scorching Bullets. After learning that Seiryuu Gundam was a descendant of Ryuutei, he chose to fight alongside him. The red wings that Ryuma Kurenai received from Garyuu Gundam are called Sekishouyoku, and he excels at aerial attacks. After defeating the Oukozoku, he was led by Argama to Crossbones Island, where he fought the final battle of the strongest on earth.
